Megan Rosenbloom is the Associate Director for Collection Resources at Norris Medical Library at the University of Southern California. She is the co-founder and director of Death Salon, the international public event series for The Order of the Good Death - a collective of academics, artists, and death professionals who speak and perform for the public about our past, present, and future relationships with our mortality. She is a member of a multidisciplinary team of chemists, librarians, and museum professionals identifying and scientifically testing alleged books bound in human skin in the world’s libraries and museums. Her debut book titled Dark Archives - a narrative non-fiction exploration of the history surrounding books bound in human skin and their relationship to medical and library ethics - will publish in fall 2019 with Farrar, Straus & Giroux. Megan was also named a Library Journal Mover & Shaker for 2016.
