Brill and SCELC have negotiated a shared collection offer that will allow interested SCELC libraries to build a shared ebook backfile collection (2007-2014) comprised of one or more of Brill's 12 subject ebook packages from across the Humanities, Social Sciences, Law and Biology. All SCELC libraries that contribute to purchasing a portion of the collection will gain ownership of all of the books in the shared collection. Participants will then have the opportunity to share in the purchase of annual updates to match the resulting collection profile going forward.
The American Council of Learned Societies has historically had a long and cordial relationship with the American Theological Library Association, as part of which ACLS Humanities E-Book (HEB) has partnered with ATLA to introduce the ATLA Special Series in Religion and Biblical Studies. This carefully selected collection follows the same rigorous process of curation that make up the balance of HEB’s 4700 titles. The difference being, this new offering will have the additional vetting of ATLA’s member scholars.
Humanities E-Book is pleased to announce its participation in the ATLA/SCELC Affiliate Program with an extremely advantageous introductory program. Our participation will enable us to offer an increased discount and additional resources to ATLA members who join the ATLA/SCELC Affiliate Program.
