User group session: Future of the SCELC/Wiley shared online books purchases

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Current SCELC participants of the Wiley subject-focused and shared online book collection program are encouraged to attend this session.

The user-group discussion will be focused around an evidence-based approach for access to Wiley digital books.  Help design your future shared purchase program!

Wiley's Usage Based Collection Management program allows you to present a much larger sets of titles than would otherwise be possible. Key benefits: your library remains in control of purchase decisions;  choose books for permanent selection based on patron behavior and without automatic triggers;  free MARC records;  titles include perpetual rights, unlimited concurrent usage and DRM-free.

How does the evidence-based approach coincide with your library collection building / purchasing cycles?  Tell us about your experiences, and what you would find desirable.
