Since the beginning of ebooks, ebrary and EBL have partnered with libraries to develop innovative offerings that help meet their needs. By combining forces, ebrary and EBL now offer the industry’s most robust content selection and the most innovative acquisition models. ProQuest Ebook Central will integrate the strengths of the EBL and ebrary platforms with new functionality. At the core of Ebook Central is an exhaustive selection of authoritative, scholarly content -- 780,000 titles and 1,350 imprints from more than 650 publishers on one platform. An average of 100,000 newly published titles will be added each year to so that libraries can build dynamic collections that address the unique needs of their community of researchers.

The platform includes:

• Modern, user-centered design for researchers including full-text catalog search at the book and chapter level, an intuitive interface that supports online and offline reading, and bookshelf, spanning the breadth of patron requirements, from discovery to reading to retrieval & sharing.

• End-to-end librarian experience ProQuest LibCentral supports discovery, selection, acquisition, administration, and real-time usage and expenditure analytics.

OASIS (Online Acquisitions and Selection Information System) is ProQuest’s free web-based system for searching, selecting, and ordering print and electronic books for academic libraries. OASIS users not only enjoy access to the broadest title database in the industry but also benefit from powerful search tools that help locate titles quickly and efficiently. Via OASIS users have access to the top eBook platforms in the market- Ebook Central, EBL, MyiLibrary, ebrary & EBSCO ebooks. Print book distribution centers in US and UK have a print partnership with INGRAM to ensure efficient print order fulfillment.
