APA will be introducing to institutions a new product, that will include all of the APA Style rules and so much more, in a product called, APA Style Central. APA Style® CENTRAL has been developed for academic institutions by the American Psychological Association, the creator of and authority on APA Style®, and features full integration of the APA’s best-selling and widely adopted Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. Everyone, including students, faculty, researchers and librarians, who need to learn about, use or teach APA Style® and is engaged in research and writing will reap the benefits of this product.
APA Style® CENTRAL features four integrated but separate centers providing expert resources for every stage of the learning, research, writing, and publishing processes, while promoting optimal habits of scholarship and research.
LEARN CENTER-Provides users and instructors an array of quick guides, tutorials and other learning objects by which to learn and retain APA Style
RESEARCH CENTER-Provides an environment to learn the research process and includes tools for planning and tracking of the research process.
WRITE CENTER-Provides authoritative guidance for all types of scholarly writing in APA Style. Users will have access to templates for any type of APA Style paper and tools to manage and format their references.
PUBLISH CENTER-Users will be able to browse and search over 1800 journals in order to find the best potential journals for publication of their work.
ASC is scheduled for launch in the spring and trials will be available at that time.
